Nathan is a passionate advocate for young people and people with disabilities. Over the last 18 months he has completed over 200 speaking engagements. A large amount of these have been in schools in SA as well as around the country, addressing topics such as purpose, values, choices and chasing after your dreams. He has also MC’ed a plethora of different events from fashion shows to corporate fundraising dinners to schoolies festival! A highlight was in 2009 hosting the gala dinner for the 10th triennial international forum for the Duke of Edinburgh award where he interviewed Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex. Nathan is the ambassador for CARA an organisation that supports young people and adults with disabilities with accommodation and respite. In 2008 he was nominated as a finalist for a Pride of Australia medal in the role model category and in 2009 he was nominated for young South Australian of the Year. He is also a Gold Duke of Edinburgh awardee. In addition to this, travelling the world extensively, playing State League Basketball, recovering from a snapped Achilles tendon aswell as many other life experiences has left Nathan with a multitude of captivating personal stories. He is very experienced at engaging with an audience of any age, size or background. He would be an outstanding choice as an MC or guest speaker at your next event. |
