Last month Babble welcomed paralympian Ben Demery and he has already been hard at work.
Ben recently spoke at the Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College Sports Presentation Night where he spoke about his World Championships and Olympic experiences as well as passing on insights into the life he leads as a legally blind athlete. Students aged from 8 to 18 were amazed at Ben’s ability and strength to tackle situations head on despite his disability.
Then just this week, Ben appeared and spoke at the International Day of People with a Disability in Rutherford for the Maitland City Council.
